Lewis University is a private Catholic university with its main campus situated in Romeoville, Illinois. The other campuses are located in Albuquerque, Oak Brook and an international centre in Rome. It was founded in 1932 and offers over 80 undergraduate and more than 22 graduate degree programs in a variety of fields, including business, education, nursing, aviation, engineering, criminal/social justice, arts and sciences, and computer science.

The main campus of the university is in the village of Romeoville, which is 35 miles southwest of Chicago. The small town is home to a variety of amenities and attractions that cater to the needs of students, including shopping centres, restaurants, and recreational areas.
