Overview

The University of Central Florida is a top-ranking public research university having its main campus in Orlando, Florida, and others spread across Central Florida. It was established in 1963 to provide talented graduates to Central Florida and the growing US Space Program. With an enrollment of over 68,000, the university has been attracting students from all states and different parts of the world. 

The university offers over 240 degree programs at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels through the 13 colleges. The major disciplines at UCD include health professions, education, psychology, business management and administration, engineering, computer and information sciences, social sciences, and others.

Accommodation

UCF Housing offers a variety of options to students through shared suites and apartment-style floor plans. The first-year students are given preference to live on the Orlando Main campus, and other students are given rooms in separate locations and the affiliated housing options by the university.

About Location

Orlando is one of the fastest-growing metro regions in the US, and UCF has several campuses in and around the city. The main campus is spread across 1,415 acres of land in East Orlando. The region has a natural connect as there are acres of woodland, lakes and an arboretum nearby.
