Washington & Jefferson College is a private liberal arts college located in Washington, Pennsylvania. The institution was founded in 1781 and has a long history of competing literary societies. About Location

Washington is the county seat of Washington County, Pennsylvania. It is basically a part of the Pittsburgh Metropolitan area in the southwestern region of the state and has a humid continental climate. Though not a large city, it still has a public transportation system which can be used by the students to explore the various entertainment venues and outdoor recreational areas during their free time. The city also has several restaurants and bars, enabling them to have spaces for socializing and enjoyment.
