Robert Morris University is a private university that is located in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1921, it has been named after Robert Morris, who is known as the "financier of the American Revolution". The university offers around 80 bachelor's degree programs, 35 Master's and several doctoral degrees, apart from 39 professional and career-focused certificate programs.

Moon Township is located along the Ohio River in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The township is part of the Greater Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area and is situated 12 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, which gives RMU students a greater chance to go for internships and job opportunities in the region. They can also enjoy the major attractions and entertainment that are provided by the big city while living in the township during their study years.
