Overview

Lycoming College is one of the oldest private liberal arts colleges in the country that is located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1812 and has a rich history of excellence by being an academy, seminary, and junior college over the years before becoming a four-year college. 

There are both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees offered in more than 43 fields of study and over 66 minors. Students can also go for interdisciplinary programs by choosing courses from more than one department. Apart from these, special academic programs are also offered by the college, which includes pre-professional courses and an engineering degree in partnership with Watson School of Engineering at Binghamton University.

Services for International Students

The college ensures that students can peacefully study and spend time at the time by having a Public Safety Team that improves the safety of the entire campus. Students can also access health and counselling services to tackle their health problems. International students are provided with a supportive environment through various services.

Lycoming College provides housing to students through eight residence halls and other apartments-style accommodations. All the residential areas have major amenities for students, like laundry facilities, VOIP phone systems, and computer access, among others. Most buildings have a kitchenette, lounges, recyclable rooms, and centralized vending areas for trash.
