Roosevelt University is a private educational institution with campuses in Chicago and Schaumburg, Illinois. It was founded in 1945 and was named in honor of Former US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. It offers various undergraduate and graduate degree programs in arts and sciences, education, health and pharmacy, and many more fields through its six colleges. Additionally, the university also operates many centers and institutes. 

Being a Metropolitan university, it plays an active role in the social, economic, and cultural development of the communities it serves. The student residences at Roosevelt University are available on the top 17 floors of the Wabash Building.
